Costa Rica, "the rich coast," has earned its name. With world-class surfing, rushing white-water rapids, lush rainforest, and volcano vistas, this small country boasts impressive outdoor adventure in every shape and size. Notching a half million species, it is one of the world's most biodiverse countries. Here, you can spot toucans, macaws, sloths, howler monkeys, and vibrantly hued frogs and butterflies.

Kick off an unforgettable week of nature, adventure and learning by volunteering in a local school to serve Costa Rican youth and practice your Spanish language skills. Next, revel in Costa Rica’s natural beauty at Manuel Antonio National Park, famous for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters that are surrounded by jungle packed with wildlife. The adventure continues amid volcanic vistas in La Fortuna:  learn about the flora and fauna on nature hikes to waterfalls and volcanos, zip line through the jungle, and soak in volcano-heated springs. Tour a local farm to get a first-hand look at how much of our fruit is grown. Cap off this incredible journey with the adrenaline-charged thrill of whitewater rafting on the Sarapiqui River!

In Costa Rica, it all comes down to pura vida! So come relax, explore and enjoy all the pure life has to offer in this mesmerizing country!
