Simply Venture invites you to join us in exploring our local, but world-class nature playground! Participants will experience these 4 adventure-packed days:

1. Saint Mary’s Glacier —This adventure boasts an incredible hike, featuring the Saint Mary’s Glacier and glacial lake. Along the trail, participants learn about glacial hydrology and ecology. Other highlights include playing in the snow in the summer, picnicking and slack lining alongside the glacial lake.

2. Rock Climbing — Start the morning at Movement in Englewood, where participants learn the basics of rock climbing and bouldering, then get the opportunity to practice their skills with plenty of reps. Afterward, the group ventures to the Red Rocks area for outdoor adventures and team building exercises.

3. Bike & SUP — Spend your morning biking in scenic Chatfield State Park, with a stop at a secret swimming hole on the Platte River. Engage in learning about the ecosystem, hydrology and ecology. After a picnic lunch, soak up an afternoon of sunshine, swimming and paddle boarding in Chatfield Reservoir! Paddle boards and life vests will be provided. Participants must provide their own bike and helmet.

4. Castlewood Canyon — Hike through this local gem that showcases big sky views and steep canyon walls to observe the “clash of the ecosystems.” Other activities include water play in the Cherry Creek stream and nature art creations. Afterward, the group enjoys a hike to the peak of the historic Castle Rock.

Space is limited. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Duration: 4 Days — 9 AM - 4 PM
Cost: $450/person for registration by 4/15 — $495/person after 4/15
Includes: All activities, transportation, guides and entrance fees
Drop Off & Pick Up: Abbott Park for 3 of the days. 1 day at Audubon Center, near Chatfield State Park.

What to Bring

1. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the day’s adventure.

2. Bring a Day Pack With:

   1. Sack Lunch

   2. Water Bottle

   3. Sunscreen

   4. Cap

   5. **On the Chatfield Day, swimwear, a towel, bike and helmet are also needed.
